Instead, opt for something a bit more subtle and intriguing.
Another great way to get more clients to open their emails is through a drip-email campaign. For those who don’t know what this is, it’s essentially a full email campaign that is spilled across several emails. Having a long term email campaign which could even extend to over a few weeks creates a sense of anticipation. This is a really clever tactic when launching a new product as you can gradually reveal sneak peeks and build up anticipation which makes readers return a week on week!
In addition to this, personalizing the subject will make an emotional attachment to the reader, which increases the chance they will open your email. Whether you can get their name in the subject or have a mention of something they will find relatable. Either way, it will make them feel like the email is purposeful and therefore they are more likely to read it.
Finally, with all of these new tips it’s important you use them all in good time. The most common times when people are checking their emails are early morning as well as midday when lots of people are on their lunch breaks.
